Citescape Construction Design & Build is a Northern Virginia general contractor based in Arlington/Falls Church, with a combined team experience of more than 30 years building custom homes, additions, kitchens, and bathrooms across the DC metro.

Our mission is straightforward: build the highest quality custom homes, additions, kitchens, and bathrooms, and work with every customer’s needs and budget along the way. That means a clear written scope before anything starts and a great eye for detail on the parts that are easy to rush past.

A detailed written estimate covering materials, labor, and timeline, reviewed with you before anything is signed.

Permitting
Where the project requires it, permits are pulled and inspections scheduled through the relevant Northern Virginia jurisdiction before work begins.

Construction
Work is scheduled and sequenced with regular updates, so you know what’s happening on-site each week.

Final walkthrough
A punch-list walkthrough before the job is considered closed. Nothing is called finished until you’ve signed off.

Are you licensed and insured?

Citescape describes itself as a local Virginia Class A contractor. Ask us directly for current license and insurance information, we’ll have it ready before any work is scheduled. Do you handle permits?

How is an estimate priced?

You get a written estimate covering materials, labor, and timeline before any deposit is collected, so you know the scope in writing rather than a verbal ballpark.

Do you only do full remodels, or smaller jobs too?

Both. A single bathroom update gets the same attention as a full custom home, the projects are just scoped and scheduled differently.

Do you build custom homes from the ground up?

Yes. Custom homes are one of our core services, from initial concept and design through the final walkthrough.

How soon can you start?

Do you subcontract the work out?

Core carpentry and project management stay in-house. Specialty trades are brought in as licensed subcontractors where the scope requires it, and coordinated as part of the same schedule.

Can I supply my own design or architect’s plans?

Yes. If you already have plans from a designer or architect, Citescape can build to those plans and manage the trades, permitting, and inspections.
